Community Focus Groups
These small-group sessions with students, parents, employees, and community partners, including business, faith-based and community-based organizations, were designed to provide increased understanding of their experiences and outlook. Focus groups were also held with several M-DCPS citizen participation groups, which advise the School Board and District staff on a variety of matters critical to the school system. These include areas such as student wellness; school safety; parental involvement; student services; diversity, equity, and access; athletics; and business practices.
